Who we are
Cedar Down Farm is the realization of many years of dreaming for Jeff Boesch and Leslie Moskovits.We have been farming together since 2004 when we met as interns on an organic farm. Since then we have worked on many farms in Canada, the U.S. and Europe and, most significantly, ran a 250 family CSA at Whole Circle Farm in Acton, Ontario. In the fall of 2009 we finally moved onto a farm of our own to build our own CSA and start growing fresh, nutritious food for our community.
Our goal as farmers is to promote soil health and biodiversity, minimize our ecological footprint and build community. We are deeply committed to growing high quality food in a way that respects ecological principles and brings people together around food. We believe in honest and open communication with our community of eaters and strive to make fresh and nutritious food available to everyone.
