- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 bunch spring salad turnips (or a mixture of veggies like radish, cucumber, carrot)
In a small bowl, combine the salt and sugar. Wash the turnips and slice into rounds that are nice and thin. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with the salt and sugar mixture. Let the turnips stand for 5 to 10 minutes then serve.
These are delicious in a salad, on top of a rice bowl or as a side with meat, quiche or any other main dish.
