Ali (our good friend and extraordinary helper) putting the row cover back on the baby squash plants after weeding. We row cover the squash to protect them from cucumber beetles and for extra heat. Notice the buckwheat cover crop between the rows to control weed pressure in the large area that squash needs to vine out.
